Our office offers a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic services that will help you look younger and feel better, without the risks and costs of conventional cosmetic surgery. Having gone through both medical and dental schools, as well as a rigorous residency program, Dr. Sy and Hui have advanced knowledge of the skeletal and soft tissue anatomy of the face.

Cosmetic Botox

Botox is a highly purified neurotoxin designed to improve the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles. It is a very safe and predictable way to improve your facial esthetics by ironing out those wrinkles in as short as one appointment with a very high patient satisfaction rate and no downtime at all. Through a series of injections using a very short needle, small aliquots of Botox Cosmetic is injected directly into the muscles of facial expression. The most common areas where Botox Cosmetic is injected, are the crow’s feet (laugh lines adjacent to the eyes), glabellar lines (commonly referred to as the 11’s or W’s in between the eyebrows) and horizontal forehead lines. The cosmetic effect of Botox lasts 3-4 months on average and increases over time with repeated treatment.

Latisse

Latisse is the only FDA-approved treatment proven to increase eyelash length, thickness and darkness. Latisse comes in a convenient boxed kit complete with disposable applicators and the solution. With once nightly application, clinical studies have shown that Latisse delivers longer, thicker, darker eyelashes. The full effect is seen after 16 weeks, but most patients start to see some improvement within several weeks of starting.

Dermal Fillers

The two most common types of dermal fillers used in the practice are Juvederm and Voluma. These products are synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA) derivatives that help restore both bony and soft tissue volume and structure. When injected correctly, they can instantly smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The most common areas they are used for are nasolabial folds (the deep folds adjacent to your nose) and marionette lines (the vertical dropping lines often seen along corners of the mouth). They can also be used to restore proper cheek bone structure that contributes to a more vibrant and youthful appearance. Depending on the type of filler used, these can last anywhere from 1-2 years.
